Hi Ami
ReplyDeleteDo i need to buy all these books to understand the story or does each book stand alone?
PS Hi mags. great post.
Good Acfternoon ami
ReplyDeleteIt says on your website to read your books chronalogically, so am I right in thinking each one needs to be read to get the gist of the story?
I do rather like your website.
Mags, what do you suggest? have you read any of these books?
I enjoyed the post mags. Off to check out ami's website. A girl in my office just ran to her computer to look too lol
ReplyDeleteHello Ami. Great books/post
I'd be interested in hearing about the plot and the characters, as well as the proper way to read the books in order to get the most out of them. Which came first for you - the plot or the characters. And what was your influence for this series?
ReplyDeleteLove Ami's Shifters Books have had the great pleasure of reviewing 2 of them in the past and have no doubt this one will be just as good. Personally from the ones I've read they do stand alone as novels... but I can pretty much guarentee where ever you jump into this series you'll want to read the rest of them anyway lol x
ReplyDeleteHi sissy, Peggy, I have not read them, but Ami is a fabbo writer and her paranormals always stand out from the crowd. Let us know what you think of it if you buy one.
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy, thanks everyone for your 'love' lol
Peggy- You don't have to buy them all. They each stand alone, except Hybrids. Hybrids should be read AFTER Shifters. Other than that, you may read what you want ...I recommend Shifters, Hybrids, and then you choose the past or the future

Sissy- please see my answer for Peggy. The website actually says you can begin in the middle with Shifters, or read them chronologically. But you may actually read them in any order.
ReplyDeleteJulie- What came first. Good Question . I saw April and Arquet first while tending to my garden teaching in Thailand. My Siamese cat jumped around on the trees and a vision came to my mind of humans who could shift into cats. I worked on that concept a bit more and the story was born...and then the story and other characters developed as I wrote.
ReplyDeletethe proper way to read the series is one: chronologically OR two: Begin with Shifters first and then Hybrids and then choose the past or future.
I wrote the middle first and then the beginning and now I am working on the ending. But each book can stand alone, except Hybrids.
This release of the first book in the series, The Invasion of 2020, will allow readers to engage the series chronologically as well.
