ReplyDeleteHi, new follower here, found you through the hop. My significant other could use a purse, so I'll answer the question: What would I change about my life? I'd have learned to speak a second language. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy blogfest giveaway is at: Indie Snippets
Wow, that's a tough question! I could say I'd want to make more money, but that really would probably just make life more complicated. Or I could want some material things... which would also probably make life more complicated. Hmm, if there was one thing I could change in my life... the list could go on and on and on, but honestly, I don't think any of the changes would make me any happier. So, since I can't really change anything anyway... I'll just stick with what I've got. :o) But I am so happy I found your blog through blog fest! I'm now a new follower and happy to be here. Thanks!

If I had a chance to change one thing, I would go back to 2003 and rethink my decision to retire.I wasn't as strong as i wanted to be and by leaving, I gave the person who sued me my job, my dignity, and I think of her every payday when I get less reitrement $$$. The University didn't stand behind me and I let my pride get in the way. Oh well...sand through the hourglass.
ReplyDeleteI would have had more children.

I wish there were more hours in the day! I never seem to have enough time to do everything I have to do and still have time left over to read at the end of the day!

If I could change one thing its that I didn't get to see my father before he died. If I had been perhaps a second or so faster, or left home earlier, maybe I would have made it. Maybe wounds would have been healed, maybe not.

That's a great question that could use a lot of thought, but I'm going to go with the first thing that came to my mind because sometimes there's deeper truth in that. I'd like to have one person back in my life, if only to hear them talk again, to know the little details about them and to know their dreams. And now to think about what that would change in my life if it could happen! Hmm...

I look back on my life and the errors I have made but I would do it all over again as I love the person I am and my errors and choices have made me who I am today! I am an all or nothing girl but I would go back and make sure I didn't fully lose myself when I became a mother...I lost myself worth and identity along the way...but I am a strong woman and am finding my way back again!!

I know I am supposed to say I would change this or I would change that but I wouldn't change a thing. If I did I might not have the life I have now. It isn't a perfect life but it has made me the person I am today and I like who I am. What an awesome way to celebrate Blogfest.

What a great question...I honestly wouldn't change a thing if I did I would not have my 4 adopted kids, be a cancer survivor, wouldn't be a wife to my lovely 2 husband, wouldn't have my rescue dogs or cats. Sure extra money would be nice, but I love the life I have.

That's such an interesting question, if I could change one thing it would be to have realised sooner not to worry about what people think about you. True friends don't care if you are a little bit strange!

Thanks for the giveaway, and having it international. If I could change one thing about my life, I guess I'd want to be more active and do things more. At the moment I usually like to stay home, reading, watching tv, etc, and while I love doing that and there's no way I could stop I would like to go out more, maybe do more exercise.
